Our mission is to meet the needs of South Asian professionals in North America as they grow in their personal and professional lives. Over the years, NetIP has become a premier brand in our community. It has become the unequivocal voice for an emerging group of South Asians, who excel in every aspect of society, from business to politics to the arts.
The Network of Indian Professionals of NY (NetIPNY) is a non-profit organization for South Asian professionals. NetIP umbrella was founded in 1990, by Dr. Satish Chandra in Chicago, IL. A self-described accidental entrepreneur, Unconventional Executive, Critical Innovator, By Heart Philanthropist and a Sprouting Film Producer, Mani Kamboj is the partner in Kamtiel Software, based in NYC and Co-Owns ROSHNI Media Group. She also sits on the board of various small to big Non Profit Organization that supports child education and women empowerment.
In ROSHNI Media Group : In her guidance and leadership, she initiated Roshni Media's First ever Awards Program in North America TIA Awards and its First Launch was on May 29th, 2015 at The Pierre,NYC. The Awards will happen every 3 years.
Mani's Passion for Movies during leisure time, resulted to bring her in executing a Hollywood Feature Film. She is excited to be an integral part of this Movie Project based on best selling book "Grey Wolves and White Doves".
Mani has an MS in Computer Applications. She has various certification in Mutual Fund Advisory, and has many UNESCO and UNO Certificates. She has been featured on cover pages of Leading magazines in India and US as "Young Entrepreneur" and as "Beauty with Brains".
She was recently honored with various awards during Women History Month for her contribution in supporting and Empowering Women initiatives in NY, NJ and SF.
She resides with her family in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Heny started her education and career as a Healthcare Professional in order to server others, and continued further to pursue her passion for Finance IT. She attended New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) graduating with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Computer Science from NJIT in addition to Associates Degree in Healthcare.
Heny is Vice President at Credit Suisse Investment Bank, focused on Global Market Regulatory Risk deliverables. She has been at the firm since 2007, and been active in the regional Philanthropic, Human Capital, Charity, Diversity/Inclusion and other team building initiatives. She was awarded the Rising Star in 2011 within Credit Suisse, affiliated with Women’s Bond Club, recognizing her achievements and potential of emerging women leaders within the financial services industry.
She has lead various cultural Youth Programs, to create cultural awareness and social exposure, efforts to sustaining the rich culture engrained in the community. She loves travelling, venturing NYC’s restaurants, rooftops, water front lounges, and is a passionate cook.

Prath has been on the NetIP Board for the last three years serving as the VP of Finance and Administration.
Originally from Hyderabad, India, he immigrated to the U.S. as a child and grew up in central Massachusetts. Prath holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northeastern University. Upon completion of his undergraduate education, Prath moved to NYC in pursuit of a career in investment banking. He is currently a Director at UBS Investment Bank within their Debt Capital Markets group. In his spare time, Prath enjoys traveling, real estate, cars, exploring NYC, fitness/running and watching movies/tv.
Prath lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Andrea and dog Diego.
Purav Adiecha serves as the VP of Professional Development for the NetIP-New York Chapter. He brings a rich and diverse professional experience and business network to the organization.
Purav’s goals at NetIP-NY for professional development are as follows:
Purav currently works as a Management Consultant with Grant Thornton LLP’s Corporate Finance group where he advises corporations on financial and operational restructuring, turnaround, crisis and interim management, process improvement, capital raise, M&A and transaction advisory services. His prior work experience involves working as a Corporate Banker for Bank of America’s Global Corporate and Investment Banking group.
Purav graduated with a Bachelors of Engineering (Hons.) degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and an MBA – Finance & Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He is also a CFA charter holder.
Outside of work, Purav pursues outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, white-water rafting and soccer. He also is involved with community events such as ‘Habitat for Humanity’ and ‘Big Brothers Big Sisters of America’.

Jenifer Rajkumar serves on the senior leadership team of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. She led a statewide effort to ensure immigrants in New York State have access to counsel through the Governor's first-in-the-nation Liberty Defense Project. Rajkumar has a wide range of experience in litigation, policy, and politics. She practiced civil rights law for several years at Sanford Heisler Sharp LLP, focusing on class action litigation on behalf of the disenfranchised. She was part of the legal team on Velez v. Novartis, which was ranked by the U.N. as one of the top 10 cases in the world advancing women's rights. She has taught Political Science as a Professor at CUNY's Lehman College. She is a panelist on the national PBS Show "To the Contrary" which airs to over 1 million viewer nationwide. In 2011, she became the first Indian American elected to the political office of District Leader in Manhattan, an office she won with 70% of the vote. In 2012, she was named a "40 Under 40 Rising Star" by City & State. In 2015 and 2016, she was named to the "New York Metro Super Lawyers list," awarded to no more than 2.5% of lawyers in the state. In 2017, she received the New York County Democratic Party's "Bella Abzug Award." She is a graduate of Stanford Law School (JD) with pro bono distinction and the University of Pennsylvania (BA), phi beta kappa, magna cum laude.
Taran bir Kaur currently works as an AVP with Citibank .Her prior work experience involves working as a marketing manager and a consultant in various fields. She has completed her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and has worked in various sectors ranging from cellular industry, financial sector to consulting to healthcare. She also holds a Master in Public Administration from (Chennai, India) She is a Sardarni from Chennai ( Chennai Express), who is a perfect blend of South India and North India. She has also worked for various non profit organisation which includes , IVF an organisation of Kiran Bedi in USA.Also she currently is a part of soup kitchen called Guru Nanak Kitchen. She believes in can do attitude and was called as Mission Impossible by her former colleagues. Taran plans to add marketing activities to promote NetIP by and add value to the community.
